Food is made fresh to order and the chef was very courteous. Had Shrimp Fried Rice, Beef Lo Mein and the Sweet and Sour Chicken. Everything tasted very good. And their pork dumplings are homemade and they were delicious. If I'm ever to visit D.C again, ill be sure to order takeout from there
The food is amazing and fresh. Their prices are affordable and you get a good portion. I received my food fairly quickly after ordering. I got the veggie lo mein, lemon chicken, general tso chicken and pickled cucumbers. The each item was delicious and you don't feel heavy and sluggish after eating. Their customer service is great as well. I'm definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu.
Not sure why there are some very negative reviews on here. We’ve ordered twice from here and each time the order is packed well, comes with cute stickers, and tastes fresh. Some food delivery apps have coupons for this place from time to time as well. I will say it is is a bit tough to find if picking up though. However, this place is definitely well above your average hole in the wall Chinese take out place.
My boyfriend and I ordered for the Meat OK! for 2-3 and the dumplings for delivery. First off, major props for the packaging! Everything was labeled; the bags and stickers were really cute. The food was also really good. The duck fried rice and crab Rangoon was particularly delicious. The greens could have used a bit more cooking, but were tasty. We loved that it included such a great variety of dishes and proteins (beef, chicken, shrimp, crab, veggies). The portions were good-sized; the two of us had plenty of leftovers.
The beef for the beef and broccoli was so tough. It didn’t even taste like beef. It tasted more like jerk, turkey, the sweet-and-sour chicken was so stale that I couldn’t even chew it it tasted like bamboo. The food tasted like panda express serving stale
Food. I will never go there again.

Welcoming staff, especially the new cook and assistant. The spicy wonton soup has good flavor but is a little too greasy for my taste. I enjoyed the cashew chicken and the veggies being cut into smaller pieces. You can't go wrong with honey walnut shrimp and veggie rolls!
Finally tried out via a delivery order for lunch. Seems the pricing and portion sizes are meant to allow customers to try several dishes. I got:
Ma Po tofu
Chinese greens
Spicy pickled cucumbers
Chicken lo mein
Pan seared pork dumplings
The cucumbers, dumplings, and greens were good. Other two items not so much. Dumplings don't come with a sauce and you don't get a side of rice like usual for a dish like ma po tofu. The lo mein noodles were greasy and gummy. The chicken was hard and tough.
Not sure I'd try anything else.
We decided to order from Lucky Danger tonight because the food is always ready quick. I was disappointed that there were several items "out of stock" on their website - crab rangoon, spring rolls, to name a couple (things I would never expect to be out of stock at a Chinese restaurant!) While service for what we ordered was fast, the lo mein was incredibly oily and the honey walnut shrimp was almost cold when we opened it. We'll give them another chance if they have more items in stock next time, but we were disappointed tonight.
